Job Description Job Description Description: The Assistant & Extended Day teacher’s role is to work with children who are in their care. The Assistant & Extended Day teacher is directly accountable to the classroom teachers and works closely with them to provide a warm, caring and safe environment for the children. Work is performed under the supervision of the school director or designee. Multiple positions may be available. The school has a current enrollment of approximately 220 students in the academic session and about half the enrollment in the summer. It is located near Foothill and 1700 South and school hours are 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
